Every book I’ve ever written and been lucky enough to have published was a collaboration. There are so many fingerprints that show up on the pages of my poems. I have never felt that I’ve truly written “alone” and am thankful for that. For the last 15 years, I have been in conversation and giving manuscript consultations to a myriad of poets writing in a wild variety of styles. My consultation packages come directly from my time as the poetry editor for Tin House magazine and then the poetry editor and co-creator of Tin House Books’ poetry list. I have edited and consulted on books by Ariana Reins, Megan Fernandez, Tommy Pico, Caitlyn Curran, Morgan Parker, Hanif Abdurraqib, Bianca Stone, and Khadijah Queen among many others.
